Gislaved Tire Review
- (Gislaved (tires)) Gislaved was a Swedish car tire manufacturer. Gislaved was formed in 1893 when the brothers Carl and Wilhelm Gislow started manufacturing rubber products in the municipality of Gislaved.

General Tire Acrtic Altimax
These are the winter tires I run on my Mazdaspeed3, not exactly the best winter vehicle out there, nor the best winter tires. My CRV is my primary winter vehicle, but I figured I should get some winters for my speed3 since they only have summer performance tires. The LSD seems to help with traction, but I find the ABS is too sensitive as it kicks in if I apply more than just a tap on the brakes when I'm traveling on ice.
The tires work great in the snow and are decent in the ice. Not bad for $88USD for a 17 inch tire from the TireRack. I am told they are based on the old Gislaved Nord Frost 3 tire, which was supposed to be a great winter tire. Either way, I think they are more than enough for the snow we get around here.
